Division is like repeated substraction. This
means 8 divided 4 is really how many 4's can be subtracted from eight. (8 - 4 - 4 = 0 giving exactly 2). Also notice the relation with multiplication. ( 8 / 4 = 2 therefore 4 * 2 = 8. ) Note: 0 divided by any number is 0; Any number divided by 0 is undefined (no real answer).
